For August 2022, Nissan Motor India recorded 3,283 domestic wholesale unit sales. The company’s exports performed significantly better than its sales revenue.
The Japanese automaker’s national retail numbers were unchanged, coming in at 3,283 units as opposed to 3,209 units in the same month last year.
Nevertheless, relative to the 3,667 units sold in the previous month, the domestic wholesalers experienced a significant decrease. In contrast, exports increased dramatically—by a factor of six—to reach 5,632 units, up from just 889 units in August 2021.
The automaker has reached the milestone of exporting one million units from its Renault-Nissan Automobile India plant in Chennai, according to a release (Tamil Nadu).
The passion for the Nissan Magnite keeps growing, according to Rakesh Srivastava, general manager of Nissan Motor India, “with a strong performance in home and export markets.” This holiday season looks to be supported by strong foundations, a desire for individual mobility, and typical work-life harmony.
According to him, Nissan offered the new Nissan Magnite Red Edition with greater value at a very attractive initial price and boosted manufacturing to enable more deliveries to consumers throughout the holiday season.
Nissan Magnite was created in India and will go on sale in December 2020 for a base price of 5.97 lakh (ex-showroom). It was designed in Japan. With over 1 lakh domestic reservations, the sub-4-meter SUV has helped Nissan’s digital ecosystem produce 25% of reservations.
Nissan introduced the Nissan Magnite – Red Edition earlier this year for a beginning price of Rs 7.86 lakh. In addition, it has received visual changes and additional amenities (ex-showroom).
According to the manufacturer, the Nissan Magnite is supplied to over 15 nations, with its most recent releases in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan.
